The Series 36-50 replaced the Series 35-50

  • There were only a few minor differences in 1936
  • The new “Convex-Vee” grill retains the shape but has less slope than in 1935
  • The new hood port treatment partially concealed the ports under a rounded canopy
  • The handbrake lever was moved to the left of the driver, under the instrument panel
  • The exhaust system had two mufflers, in series
  • Vacuum advance was added to the distributor

I.D. DATA

  • Serial numbers were on the top surface of the frame side bar, left side, just ahead of the dash
  • Engine numbers were the same as the serial number and were located on the left side of the cylinder block, at the front, just below the cylinder head
  • Starting: 2210001; ending 2223004
