Introduction
The 1984 Firebird’s appearance was similar to the 1983 version and came in three models

Trans Am
- The Firebird Trans Am got a performance boost with a high-output four-barrel version of the 305-cid (5.0-liter) V-8.
- That power plant replaced the former crossfire fuel-injected V-8.
- It was rated for 190 hp at 4800 rpm and produced 240 lb-ft of torque.
- Standard five-speed manual transmission and 3.73:1 axle ratio.
- 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds and quarter mile in about 15 seconds.
